Designation:

Ecommerce Demand & Inventory Planner

As the Ecommerce Demand and Inventory Planner you will be responsible for procuring supply to meet service and inventory objectives for the Ecommerce channels. You will work to ensure on time deliveries from factory and to the B2B and B2C. Key partners will include Factory, Sourcing, Logistics, Demand Planning, Distribution and Customer Service. Additionally, you will understand capacity constraints and work to resolve issues proactively and align inventory segments to maximize Ecommerce product availability and sales while collaborating with other channels to maximize total company’s sales and profit.

Duties and KPIs:

DUTIES

·         Responsible for ecommerce pre-season and in-season demand inputs and other crucial supply planning criteria (current inventory levels, factory capacity, and minimums).

·         Includes creating and maintaining demand forecasts in various systems.

·         DC Inventory responsibility to monitor First Line versus End of Line, seasonality and recommend actions to maintain appropriate inventory targets.

·         Maximize ecommerce in-season in-stock and sales through daily and weekly monitoring of published web pages and B2B inventory and suggesting inventory segment transfers to maximize sales and profit and capture consumer demand for all channels.

·         Partner with and be a functional member of the Ecommerce team to develop demand and inventory strategies that support the Ecommerce and overall Company goals.

·         Create and maintain Ecommerce published in-stock reporting to drive Ecommerce product page and inventory actions.

·         Develop and maintain Ecommerce inventory and in-stock reporting and assist with performance reporting as it relates to demand, demand changes Year over year and to forecast and inventory to plan

·         Maximize sales and inventory turns by managing supply and inventory and developing appropriate inventory strategies through supply timing and sales opportunities

·         Track conversion of purchase requisitions to vendor purchase orders for all channels of US business.

·         Maintain pre-season and in-season demand forecasts Ecommerce as necessary.

·         Support operations-based sustainability functions in alignment with company direction to eliminate plastic and reduce waste and carbon emissions.

·         Continually monitor demand needs and supply timing to identify issues and opportunities. Adjust supply timing as needed to improve service to customers and / or meet inventory objectives.

·         Responsible for order book and supply PO calendar and communication to heads of channel.

·         Manage samples PO’s for all channels and marketing to ensure timely arrive and sell in.

·         Collaborate with Wholesale and Retail Demand Planning when capacity is constrained to forecast/prioritize demand based on supply availability.

·         Support Supply Planning Manager in preparation for S&OP Supply Review meeting.

·         Highlight issues and opportunities to drive improved supply chain operational performance and achieve business objectives.

·         Participate in key projects to evolve supply chain capabilities.

·         Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
