Job Description:

We are looking for an energetic and a highly dependable Front Desk Executive to join the Basic Group team. The ideal candidate will be a university graduate, and have at least one year of work experience, have fluency in written English, be computer literate, presentable, personable, easygoing, as well as disciplined. This position also requires attention to detail, public dealing confidence, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused strategy.

The goal is to make the initial contact of our guests, clients, vendors and visitors a welcoming one, with utmost professionalism and positive attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

  •   Professionally greet clients, vendors, contractors, and guests on phone & in-person
  •   Appropriately address visitor queries and/or redirect them to relevant departments
  •   Answer phones professionally and take messages properly and/or redirect calls to appropriate departments.
  •   Update appointment calendars as well as schedule appointments and meetings
  •   Organize and maintain files and records; update the same as necessary
  •   Oversee sorting, distributing and replying of incoming post mails
  •   Prepare outgoing mail (envelopes, packages, etc.)
  •   Record meeting minutes and dictations under guidance of company secretary
  •   Type various forms of business letters and correspondences
  •   Maintain an orderly and clean work area
  •   Prepare meeting room and setup presentations if needed
  •   Assist fellow team members with regular office & admin work as necessary

Job Requirements:

  •   Reliable, professional, organized, computer literate, bold yet friendly
  •   Must be able to effectively communicate in person, via email, and via phone
  •   Strong keyboard and typing skills; short-hand a plus
  •   Working knowledge of MS-Office; Word, Excel, Power Point, Google, Gmail, etc  
  •   Ability to understand and communicate in English, especially in writing
  •   Must have 1-2 years’ experience in relevant field  
  •   O’ and A’ Level, Bachelors, HR, Marketing, Communications or Business majors
