Job Role:
Assistant Manager purchase is responsible for procurement of capital, consumable (inclusive of pharmacy procurement related to surgical items only) and services for all AKHS,P operations in liaison with AKUGroup Purchase and in accordance with the procurement SOPs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
- Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize services.
- Evaluate and report on KPIs
- Supports proper utilization of ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Development of Key supply chain Reports in Microsoft Dynamics.
Required Skills
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics -SCM Module
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Proficient in Excel.
Education and Experience
- MBA and Supply Chain Certification preferred
- 6+ Years of Supply Chain- Inventory management experience.
- ERP implementation (MM module) experience will be an added advantage.
