The Women Civic Internship is a 6-month program supported by KP IT Board, Code for Pakistan and The World Bank, which will run alongside the prestigious KP Government Innovation Fellowship Program. The women interns will support a team of talented technologists, developers and designers, and the program itself is designed to up-skill fresh graduates with technology skills, provide practical hands-on work experience and prepare them for exploring a career in Software Development, Information Technology and Engineering. Interns will get an opportunity to work on citizen-facing digital services to improve citizen engagement, automate government processes, and create innovation in public service delivery. These digital services will help solve problems in various public domains, such as economic development, healthcare, open data, citizen engagement, transportation, and education.

The benefits that these interns will get include a monthly stipend of ,/- for six months, tailored learning, career counseling and mentorship from top industry professionals, free workspace, leadership development training and above all a chance to provide support to the Government Innovation Fellowship teams working with Government to bring about a change in the digital landscape of KP.

Candidates having a minimum of 16 years of education with no prior experience are encouraged to apply.
