Essential Duties & Responsibilities of Import Officer
- Prepare documentation of all import shipments.
- For coordinating with the bank to open L/Cs and maintain records.
- Assist in Coordination with shipping companies and freight forwarders.
- Assist in custom clearance.
- Coordinate with Insurance companies.
- Do import costing and assist with entering purchases.
- Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing goods.
- To perform any other duty in the same capacity as assigned by the management.
