BATIK is looking for a suitable resource to serve as Production & Planning Officer at its production house in Islamabad.

Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to.

• To plan with production on daily basis to secure deadlines.
• Inventory and WIP follow ups to be closed in real time.
• To provide requisition & ensure loading plan and Work orders’ execution as per plan.
• Reconciliation of raw material and fabric availability for WIP and future planned production.
• To follow up & receive articles ensure smooth production planning & flow.
• To hand over new products to concern departments after completion of task.
• To come up with commercial and aesthetic solutions on the process flaws.
• Follow up from all the stake holders i.e. Grieg fabric, Dyeing, Printing, Embroidery, Adda Work and Stitching & Finishing to get things done on time to lead the finish product till WH.
• Facilitate the production capacities if any short fall of work occurs.
• Eliminate Bottleneck situation from on-going process.
• Maintaining proper stock of fabrics for the running products of season.
• Maintaining proper coordination in between stakeholders.
• Circulate Plan of all running products to all stakeholders for on time execution of products.
• Making sure to get PO quantities closed as per production plan.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Proven experience in production planning and control in the textile sector.
• Familiarity with grey planning, inspection, and issuance.
• Strong planning and scheduling skills for outsource printing.
• Experience in production control and dispatching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Good at Microsoft office.
