Manage the flow of communication to factory and customers with a sense of urgency to meet sample and PD deadlines. Execute end-to-end PD needs & open inquiries of our Premium Clients with an aim to achieve 100% development to order conversion and inquiry to order conversion. Has a distinct eye and understands the requirements of high value/premium client’s quality expectations and requirements. Premium/high value brands are the top names in the market having supreme fabric quality, exceptional workmanship representing highest standards of luxury and value.

Job Description:

• Complete product development management of all premium clients
• Communicate directly with the customer/sales team as well the factory for On-time completion of product development projects by strictly adhering to the meeting deadlines. Follow up with factory on open developments and keep customers updated at all times.
• Make sure that customer’s instructions/requirements/processes/SOPs are followed throughout the product development activities.
• On-time delivery of reports & Information as per agreed date with customers/sales team/Factory.
• 100% accuracy on all reports or information being passed to the customer/sales team/Factory.
• Working directly with the Team Lead PD, customer/sales team and the factory on sample room capacity planning & booking for future/pipeline developments.
• Customer satisfaction through responsiveness, complaint resolution.
• Ensure 100% compliance of established SOP's.
• Keeping your team lead informed of any new inquiries, orders, cancelations & complaints from the customer.
• Making sure that all emails received are processed daily.
• Maintain reference library of all garments active in development.
• Handel RFQ’s/Inquiries and keep track of customer pricing with the costing team.
• WIP Management
• Receive and process incoming/outgoing courier packages containing approval items like, lab dips, fabric swatches, SS, Prot/FIT samples, SMS/Photoshoot samples etc.
• Attend customer meeting as required
• Other duties/tasks as assigned by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 16 years of education preferably in textile sciences/engineering
• Experience in handling PD of premium/high value clients like Hugo Boss, Tommy Bahamas, Johnston & Murphy, Carbon to Cobalt etc.
• Technical knowledge of yarns, fabric processing and garment making process.
• Tuned to work on developments with short lead times, Quick Turns.
• Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills with detailed attention to products.
• Ability to communicate and interact with all cross functional teams.
• 3-5 years’ experience in apparel industry is a must.
• Be able to multitask and handle pressure
• Strong computer and excel skills.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Excellent math and calculation skills
• Experience with collegiate and teams apparel will be a plus
