| Job Description: |
| Write clear and concise policies and procedures which are easily understandable for a range of personnel
Meet with Analyze representatives to establish technical specifications / references.
Create user documentation for a variety of material, including how-to guides and instruction manuals.
Gather information instructions under review.
Prepare charts, graphs or forms to go along with rough drafts.
Ensure fields flow in the correct sequence.
Write articles and reports on current changes when policy or procedures change within the organization.
Create table of contents and cite sources.
Submit copies to managers for feedback.
Provide updates and different editions as necessary |
| Required Skills: |
Excellent project and time management skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and develop and maintain own schedule.
Excellent ability to work as lone writer on an assignment or to collaborate closely with others as needed, including writing skills. Topic-oriented structured writing a plus.
Experience must include original writing of technical, engineering, or scientific material requiring an understanding of the basic concepts practices and specialized vocabulary used within IT environment.
Additional experience developing Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) computer based training. (CBT) or online help systems is beneficial.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access UML(would be a plus ) and Visio. |
