| Job Description: |
| The applicant must be computer literate and mobile. Ideally he should be an MBA with specialization on Supply chain management . He would be required to work at the Floor level co coordinating with Production Department and the workshop. Thus teamwork would be an essential part of the applicants qualities. He would be essential in streamlining the procurement department by broadening the vendor base and introducing new procedures to ensure timely delivery and payment procedures from suppliers In this connection he would be required to visit markets and have direct liaison with the owners of suppliers to the Co. Also strict procurement guidleines would need to be followed by getting 2 to 3 quotes before procurement of stores. Monthly reports of consumables to be given to Management and identify reason on any excess consumption of materials. An interest in engineering would be an added advantage preferably a formal education at undergraduate level. The candidate would need to ensure that the critical parts list is always maintained at levels as agreed and other inventory levels are maintained at minimum levels |
