| Reporting Line: Head of Sourcing and Vendor Development Summary:
The Manager Sourcing at SSC is responsible for devising and overseeing the implementation of sourcing plans that ensure timely delivery of quality products. Role and Responsibilities: To ensure that the vendor base of SSC is strong enough to cater to the needs of the business and to manage all issues related to arranging the products and getting them into the Distribution Centers. Key Result Areas: -
Manage the monthly deliveries against the purchase orders.

Plan for the sourcing of the next two months and oversee its implementation.

Analyze new vendors and induct them into relevant categories.

Sign off contracts with all vendors for seasonal capacity bookings and smooth deliveries against all given POs.

Oversee the production issues at the sources and intervene if necessary.

Collaborate with the Merchants and the Product Development team to negotiate prices with the local vendors.

Enforce the implementation of sales and income tax policies on the vendors.
Critical Dimensions: -
Ensure that the vendors are delivering timely according to their agreements and commitments.

Get new vendors into the supply chain so that the product demands can be met.

Ensure that all the vendors deliver the quality products that are expected as per their agreement.

Get the best prices from vendors by collaborating and cooperating with the Merchants and the Product Development Team.
