The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Bachelors or Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science
- Have at least 4 - 5 Years’ Experience and relevant experience in Postpaid Billing Systems.
Job Description
- Perform automation of Customized system processes and Reports (Using UNIX Scripting and VS .NET) so that system performance can be enhanced.
- Perform system level performance testing/tuning for application and database processes.
- Execute 24/7 support in case of issue reported by the clients and to provide support to billing front end team.
- Responsible for the definition of new MSC’s in Live and then validation of the data received from newly defined MSCs.
- Test and implement new features introduced in billing system in coordination with different teams.
- Execute database administration (level 1) including performance tuning, table space and system utilization/load management.
- Oversee daily operations of billing system for Local and Roamer subscriber accounts.
- Lead end-to-end bill cycle operational process under direction of Line Manger.
- Follow up timely & successful completion of all operational activities (Rating/Pricing, Billing, TAPs (In & Out) and Reports etc.).
- Monitor critical system alerts 24/7 and to track abnormality and assign resource in case of issues.
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of Unix and Database (oracle11g)
- Advance programming skills.
- Good hands on experience in postpaid billing system.
- Good ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Taking on responsibility and owning attitude.
