| Job Description: |
- Analyzes fabric/Yarn costs by fabric type, supplier and item to identify opportunities for cost reductions.
- Manage product approval process to achieve on-time delivery and quality product.
- Negotiate costs to achieve financial targets.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with fiber manufacturers, mills and other business partners; manage a wide array of contacts and help negotiate terms.
- Create a sourcing strategy and timeline to ensure fabric delivery for upcoming product offerings/seasons.
- Liaise with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
- Ensure all raw materials meet Reformations sustainability standards, and that significant suppliers meet Reformations social and environmental code of conduct.
- Ensure fabric/Yarn quality and test for toxicity for all fabrics prior to bulk order.
