| Job Description: |
Purpose of the Job: The Front Desk Officer will the first point of contact of the bank. This position is to perform a variety of front office activities with a positive attitude, polished, professional appearance. She will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, mail distribution and providing further clerical support.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet visitors/guests courteously and attend their queries and direct them appropriately.
- Answering incoming telephone calls, determining purpose of callers and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel or department.
- Organizing and maintaining visitors diary/register.
- Keeping records and handle all incoming and outgoing couriers.
- Pleasant liaising with vendors (courier Companies)/ and all staff.
- Housekeeping of reception area.
- To receive, sort and distribute the mail on daily basis.
- Handling other miscellaneous responsibilities within the scope of the job.
- Observe electronic attendance of Head office Staff and ensure the provisioning of manual attendance sheets to HR.
- Assist Line Manager with administrative duties.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- Polished professional with outgoing attitude, be a team player and love to make the guests feel at home.
- High level of proficiency with Ms. Office
- Demonstrated excellent organizational, coordinating and personal interface skills.
- Proven job diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
